About

I am a student of philosophy and recently obtained a Magister Artium degree in this field from the University of Trier, Germany. Currently, I am visiting at Jesus College Oxford.

Born in 1986 in then East Germany, my parents moved to the West in 1991, where I attended school in a town close to Heidelberg. In 2005 I took up my studies in Trier. My interests focus on philosophical anthropology and ethics, from a broadly Aristotelian perspective.

Beyond philosophy, I enjoy music, both popular and classical, as well as 19th century romantic & adventure novels. I am enthusiastic about art, especially representationalist painting, the Pre-Raphaelites being among my favorite painters. I am interested in paleo cooking and traveling.
